2015 was an amazing year for me and my business. It was a year full of transition, change, improvement, and lots of hard work. My side work has now become my full-time job. It's something I have wanted and longed for since I first started photographing weddings; and the time has finally arrived. I want to say that it seems like it's too good to be true, to be my own boss...but the truth is I worked really really hard to get to this point. Working two jobs, putting in endless hours after my 9-5, sacrificing all my summer weekends - and it's all been so worth it. I challenged myself to second shoot a ton this year with new and different photographers and I can honestly say that I been grateful to shoot and learn from fellow wedding photographers whom I admire and look up to. 2016 wedding clients are already amazing and I am so excited to get started on my first full time wedding season!
I have met and photographed some of the most perfect couples and families, not just clients but people I can consider new friends. People who like my work and get my vision and let me run around with a camera in their face and actually go along with the crazy things I tell them to do. Here's a recap of some my favorite shots from 2015.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
